I created Summer Iris Photo because I believe everyone deserves to feel seen, celebrated, and captured in a way that actually feels like them. After years of shooting boudoir professionally, I knew I wanted more freedom, more creativity, and more connection—so I built my dream brand from the ground up.

This Is My Story—Chaos, Creativity, and a Life That I Can’t Believe is Mine 🫶

Before launching Summer Iris, I spent years photographing hundreds of boudoir clients at a top-tier studio in Portland, Oregon (shoutout to Naked Peach Boudoir)—directing, posing, styling, and hyping people up until they saw themselves really clearly, maybe for the first time.

But as much as I loved it, I craved more: more creativity, more connection, more permission to do things my way. So I trusted my gut (and my Virgo sun and rising) and built Summer Iris from the ground up—a brand that’s equal parts elevated and easygoing, where the vibes are at an all time high and the energy’s all heart.

At the heart of Summer Iris is this: everyone deserves to feel seen, celebrated, and confident in their own skin—whether you’re marking a milestone or just showing up for yourself. This isn’t about perfection—it’s about presence, and being photographed in a way that reflects the real you.

And when I’m not behind the camera? I’m probably at the park with my husband AJ and our four-year-old girly pop Stevie Iris, walking our pups Summer and Blue, or coloring in my Bobbie Goods book at 11pm while simultaneously bingeing a true crime podcast. Real life is what fuels all of this for me—and I’ll never take that for granted.
